AtriCure offers exciting, paid co-op and internship opportunities for students across a range of departments, including Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Legal, IT, and HR. These programs provide hands-on experience working alongside industry leaders, with real responsibilities across the medical device field. Many co-ops and interns transition into full-time roles after graduation and continue to grow their careers at AtriCure. A variety of co-op and internship opportunities, including both year round and seasonal roles, are available at our Mason, Ohio; Minnetonka, Minnesota; Pleasanton, California; and Amsterdam offices.

Sales Training Associate Program (STA)

  • A 9-12 month program for new college graduates to build a foundation for a career in the competitive and rewarding medical device industry.
  • Participants will have the opportunity to learn from the Global Training and Education team, Sales Managers and Field Clinical Specialists.
  • The program focuses on developing core clinical and business skills to drive business growth and procedural adoption in the field. Upon successful completion, participants will be eligible to move into a clinical specialist or associate sales rep position within one of our areas of focus. This is contingent upon the availability of a position and may be located anywhere within the US.
  • After the initial 9-month residency and with demonstrated clinical proficiency and execution, the STA will relocate (with company relocation assistance) to an open territory for their next role.

Engineering Development Program (EDP)

  • Designed for graduating or recently graduated students to gain a solid foundation in AtriCure’s systems and products, while strengthening leadership capabilities and effective collaboration skills.
  • Features 6-month rotational assignment across quality, manufacturing, product development, and either clinical education, marketing, or regulatory affairs.
  • Upon successfully completing all rotations, the EDP associate will be eligible to be considered for open roles.
