The Marketing department at AtriCure, Inc. is a fast-paced, high energy, fun and passionate organization. Our mission is to create effective programs, promotional materials and events to increase the public's awareness of AtriCure and our products. Presently the company is going through a major growth spurt and is in need of an organizational genius with the ability to independently take multiple projects and drive them to completion. This person must also thrive in a constantly changing environment, working with all levels of the organization, from entry level employees to top management.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Grasp significance of Quality procedures in order to process documents and materials through Promotional Copy Review (PRC) for company approval.
- Initiate updates, and maintain files and data management systems. Stores, retrieves, and integrates information for distribution to staff and clients.
- Operate an assortment of contemporary office equipment, and computer software programs including advanced skills in Windows XP, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Publisher, Adobe and the Internet; Learn and operate new programs as required in order to create, revise and store documents.
- Create spreadsheets, compose correspondence, manage databases, and create presentations, reports, and documents by using desktop publishing software and digital graphics. Must have the ability to layout/design forms, letters, calendars, newsletters and other Marketing materials upon request.
- Conduct research to identify appropriate vendors based on knowledge of organization needs, negotiate details and follow through to completion.
- Learn and implement AtriCure policies, procedures, processes, and systems to produce results aligned with the organizational goals and vision.
- Troubleshoot and prepare purchase orders and check request for the Marketing Department. Maintain a department-wide financial liabilities sheet.
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars; Schedule and coordinate meetings, interviews, facilities usage, events, and/or travel arrangements, as required.
- Assist in administrative problem solving, project planning, development, and execution of stated goals and objectives. Must be able to take projects from concept to completion autonomously.
- Participate in improving organizational performance by suggesting areas or methods for enhancing activities, executing new procedures, gathering information and contributing to department discussions.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational, attention to detail and time management skills to handle multiple projects and priorities.
- Able to exercise independent discretion and judgment to quickly analyze/ solve complex problems and propose efficient solutions.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Windows and MS Office environments.
- Ability to communicate and perform effectively with all levels of the organization and handle confidential information with professional demeanor and discretion.
- Ability to anticipate the expectations and needs of the organization in order to take a proactive approach in completing projects and problem recognition/ solving.
- Must have 'big picture' thinking of overall strategy and make independent, informed decisions that produce quality work.
