AtriCure is seeking a graphics/web design specialist to develop and update communication and marketing projects in print and online. Design and produce marketing materials including brochures, advertisements, videos, animations, direct marketing pieces, sales team support items, web pages & images and other related materials. Execute internet marketing campaigns, as well as proactively manage graphics for the company website.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Develops design, layout and formatting of marketing materials in a variety of creative projects, including presentations, brochures/collateral, advertisements (print & electronic), direct mail (print & electronic), websites, video editing, animation creation, tradeshow graphics and materials, corporate identity and logos.
  • Executes internet marketing campaigns, as well as proactively manages graphics for an organization's website. Duties may include creating, editing and maintaining web graphics and multimedia and managing website change requests.
  • Creates accurate files for production (electronic or hardcopy publication); make edits / changes as required, obtains necessary approvals, submits files in a timely manner, tracks production with outside publications/vendors, and report on status.
  • Oversees the graphic execution - from art production through printing process.
  • Determines printing/production specifications and most cost-effective print/production solutions.
  • Stays current on design and graphic/web trends and techniques and new versions of existing software programs.
  • Works with marketing team to establish corporate branding specifications to ensure work meets corporate guidelines.
  • Recommend, design, script (code) and implement graphic and interactive solutions for clients as required.
  • Transform scripts and visualizations into fluid, highly kinetic motion graphic animations.
  • Translate concepts and information into visually compelling user interfaces under tight deadlines.
  • Be creative working within corporate client style guides, templates and existing elements.
  • Ensure timeliness, accuracy and consistency of site.
  • Determine and recommend the resources necessary for web operations.
  • Keep current with competitors’ web sites and development practices.
  • Develop interactive marketing tools to support business.
  • Provide assistance in other marketing needs.
  • Maintain a working relationship with selected vendors, including independent graphic design consultants and website developers.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years proven experience designing and developing interactive websites and print materials.
  • Experience and knowledge working with commercial graphics vendors, graphics production processes, techniques, standards and ethics.
  • Intermediate knowledge of graphic software including: InDesign, Quark, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint and video editing software. Solid experience with Flash, Dreamweaver, Macromedia or other 3D animation software.
  • Knowledge of HTML coding and scripting technologies, such as ASP and JavaScript software.
  • Experience in website development and web graphic design, programming, indexing, scripting and site maintenance a plus.
  • Skilled in web-ready graphics, animations, PDFs and multimedia files. Identity, logo design, branding, print design experience a plus.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and provide varying levels of graphic production support to clients and staff.
  • Familiar with Internet connectivity issues and download times.
  • Strong timeline creation and project management skills.
